2.   Click on ‘properties’. Now the ‘Alt Text’ menu will appear as given below.

Though a caption under an image in a blog post does not have any direct impact on the search ranking etc. but it has direct impact on bounce rate. Adding a caption under a blog post image is neither a difficult nor a time consuming task.

How to add ‘caption’ to a Blog Post Image

1. Click on the image if it is a new post and if it is an existing post open it in edit mode and then click on the image. 

2. Click on ‘Add Caption’.

3.Now you can write a caption, the caption you write will appear under the image and will be centered automatically.

Keep the image file size as small as possible.
